From tablets to modern medicine with silk.

Experiment: Experience live how tablets are produced using one of the most modern machines in Germany.

We will show you silk in various forms - from silk cocoons to liquid silk. With illustrative examples, we explain how we use these silk forms (such as small particles and gels) to improve medicines and cell therapies. Watch silkworms hard at work.

For children: paint your own silk cocoon and take it home as a souvenir!

Note
The experiment will be repeated at 18:00, 20:00 and 22:00.
Restriction
The laboratory is wheelchair accessible, but access to the building is dependent on the status of the construction work.
