Take a self-test to find out how biodiversity-friendly your garden is and how you can further promote biodiversity.

For many people, a garden is their own little oasis. But not only for us humans, a garden can also fulfill many important functions for animals and plants and provide habitat and food. Which animals benefit from a wild shrub hedge? Why is it so important to leave piles of leaves and brushwood or deadwood lying around? Find out which structures in the garden you can use to support native species, attract birds and insects to your garden and do something to protect biodiversity at the same time.

In short videos, you will learn why it is important to preserve biodiversity and why gardens can play such an important role in this. In a self-test, you can gain an impression of the current state of biodiversity in your own garden. We have also developed a series of instructions on how to create structures that promote biodiversity. For example, you will be guided step by step through the process of planting a wild perennial bed or creating a flowering meadow or natural nesting aids. You can get started right away - so that your garden will be even more blooming, humming and twittering next summer.
