Tasks
- Exercise of the state guardianship in the context of child protection
- Advice on shared living arrangements for mothers/fathers and children, care and support for children in emergency situations
- General parenting advice and determining the need for support and assistance
- Selection, provision, mediation, support and follow-up of outpatient, semi-residential and inpatient educational assistance in accordance with SGB VIII, its provision and process management (educational support)
- Out-of-court advice and support for mothers, fathers and legal guardians on issues relating to separation, divorce, contact and the exercise of personal care
- Support for young adults and, if necessary, granting of benefits in accordance with SGB VIII
- Integration assistance in accordance with SGB VIII to overcome impairments to participation
- Participation in family court proceedings in accordance with the FamFG, in particular with regard to custody and contact arrangements, in child custody matters and cases of protection against violence
