The Health Service can issue registration certificates for self-employment as a

• Physiotherapist and masseur
• occupational therapist
• speech therapist
• podiatrist
• health and paediatric nurse (male/female)
• geriatric nurse
• dietician

if the activity is carried out in Jena. The Fachdienst Gesundheit can also issue registration confirmations for the opening of outpatient or inpatient facilities, such as nursing services or hospices, if they are located in Jena.

Registration of foreign language skills

Under -> Downloads you will find a form for recording foreign language skills of medical professions. This information is processed within the framework of a health guide for migrants and refugees - created under the auspices of the Commissioner for Migration and Integration of the City of Jena.

You are not obliged to fill out this form. The information you provide is completely voluntary. By sending the document, you agree that your data may be processed electronically and published on the website of the city of Jena and in the above-mentioned health guide. This consent can be revoked by you at any time.

• Please use the corresponding application form under -> Downloads and enclose a certified copy of your state permit to use the professional title.
• If the name on the permit no longer matches your current name, e.g. due to marriage, please also enclose a copy of the marriage certificate.

Registration with the health service is free of charge.
