Race of the magnets. Magnets don't need a parachute! How fast do magnets really fall?

Our life with magnets and other ceramic materials. Always used! Hardly seen! Indispensable!

For those hungry for knowledge, sophisticated magnetic experiments are set up with basic explanations that are easy to understand, clear and hands-on! It is playfully demonstrated that magnets are made of materials that we all use every day without having to think about it. Research into the physical and chemical processes has been ongoing for over a century and even today not all phenomena and functional properties are fully understood! In addition, experiments are set up to show how efficient ceramics are today. The areas of application covered by ceramic materials will be demonstrated. Experiments on piezoceramics for positioning on the scale of the thickness of a human hair, utilization of unavoidable waste heat from technical devices as electrical energy using ceramics and self-regulating heating elements and high-temperature capacitors can be carried out. What is particularly exciting is that these applications are often deeply hidden. The simplest household appliances through to highly complex technical systems contain such functional ceramic solutions. These are provided as a matter of course for the life of progressive people. The fact that only the ceramics material group is able to deliver the desired properties is often not clear and will be demonstrated during the event
