- Processing and deciding on residence applications from foreigners
- Approval or refusal of entry applications (visa procedure)
- Examination of declarations of commitment, security deposits, reclaims, deportation costs
- Granting and refusal of residence permits, tolerations, authorizations
- Determination of German language skills, integration course entitlements and/or obligations
- Approval procedure with the employment agency
- Continuous data maintenance (in particular AZR), data comparison with authorities, statistics
- Information on the current legal situation to employers, authorities, associations, aid organizations, etc.
