Tasks

1. Ordering and enforcing all measures to maintain public safety and order, averting dangers, eliminating disturbances (e.g. unauthorized fires)
2. Monitoring compliance with requirements for public events, rallies and demonstrations
3. Monitoring the ban on alcohol in certain public areas and issuing warnings subject to a charge or initiating fine proceedings
4. Checks in accordance with weapons law (monitoring the proper storage of weapons), youth protection (alcohol, tobacco) and trade law
5. Checks on child endangerment and compliance with compulsory school attendance, compulsory school attendance
6. Investigation activities for the fines office and other specialist services (e.g. illegal waste disposal, control of prohibition of use FD building regulations, violation of registration law, etc.), external authorities and public institutions and ordering measures, residence investigations, identity checks
7. 10. Control of special uses and issuing of chargeable warnings or initiation of fine proceedings
11. Admission to a homeless shelter in the event of evictions
12. Home searches to secure estates
13. Defense against violations of statutes and ordinances in self-administration matters
14. Investigation activities in connection with driver arrests for traffic violations in moving traffic (driving license revocation)
15. Address and residence investigations for all areas of the city administration
16. Receipt and processing of citizen complaints
17. Enforcement and orders for vehicle immobilization
18. Enforcement of municipal street cleaning and street cleaning statutes
