Green Oases funding guideline
Inner-city greenery is becoming increasingly important, both in terms of urban climate and urban ecology. Urban greenery improves air quality by binding CO2 and producing oxygen, and provides air cooling. It is also playing an increasingly important role as a habitat and development area for numerous animal species such as birds and insects in particular.
