Mithilfe des Solarkatasters kann die grundsätzliche Eignung von Gebäuden für die Nutzung von Solarenergie ermittelt werden. Das Solarkataster ist über das Kartenportal der Stadt Jena abrufbar.

Retrievable information
Various parameters of the roof areas for solar thermal and photovoltaic can be queried. In addition to the size of the roof area suitable for solar energy use
- (for partial areas and/or as a building total) as well as the roof pitch or the
- roof pitch or the
- or the theoretically installable module output and the
- achievable electricity yield
with a mouse click on the corresponding area.
Suitability class
The higher the suitability class of the area, the higher the possible yield (on a scale from 0 = not suitable to 3 = very suitable).
Data basis from 2011
Since a cost-effective re-use of an already existing database was carried out for the solar cadastre, the buildings unfortunately only have a processing status from the year 2011.
