Use of robots during production to relieve the strain on people

Grintech GmbH uses a fully automated measuring station with a robot arm for ultra-precise measurement of the diameter of glass rods. All visitors are invited to observe the robot and check for themselves how the glass rods are measured in the nanometer range and then sorted according to defined diameter categories. Those who dare can try to measure a glass rod manually, as was common in the past.
