• Registration certificate Part II
• If applicable, original proof of EC type approval (EC certificate of conformity / COC certificate).
• If applicable, manufacturer's data confirmation: In certain cases, a data confirmation is completed by the manufacturer instead of the registration certificate Part II. The registration authority then issues the ZB II on the basis of this data confirmation. In this case, the vehicle must be presented for initial identification, unless the vehicle has already been identified by an officially recognised expert as part of a supplementary or bodywork assessment (see also information on the obligation to present vehicles from abroad).
• Electronic insurance confirmation (eVB, formerly insurance double card)
• SEPA direct debit mandate for collection of motor vehicle tax
• General documents on the vehicle owner (see Downloads)

The registration authority uses special adhesive seals with special security features for the vehicle documents. This increases the total fees by € 0.30 per adhesive seal used.
