Energy consulting services

Energy consultations provide information and analyses in order to use energy as economically and ecologically as possible. Jena offers various energy consulting services. You can find out who offers which services, who can access them and how much they cost here.

What?

Traditional free energy advice: Advice is provided in person either in the Stadtwerke building at Rudolstädter Straße 39, by telephone or online as a video call or video conference via Microsoft Teams.

Individual efficiency and refurbishment advice: For homeowners and building owners, needs-based advice on improving efficiency and refurbishment advice is offered. This includes heating and building technology, measures on the building envelope, the use of renewable energies and current funding opportunities.

Online services: Further services are offered online to provide energy advice and to participate in the energy transition. These include energy-saving tips and online energy certificates.

If desired, the combination and use of photovoltaics, battery storage and/or wallbox for electric cars can also be checked. What do we do?

The advice topics include energy bills, heating and ventilation, structural heat and thermal insulation, heating and control technology, renewable energies, subsidy programs and switching energy suppliers. The energy advice provided by the consumer advice center is independent and product-neutral.

Simple energy-saving questions can be answered via telephone or online advice. In the stationary advice service, detailed personal advice on all energy issues is provided at the advice center by appointment. The basic check at your home includes an in-depth assessment of your energy situation. You will receive a brief report with the results and recommendations for action. In addition to the basic check, the building envelope and the heating system are also examined during the building check.

The efficiency of your heating system is measured and analyzed in the heating check, and the optimum setting of your solar thermal system is checked in the solar heat check. Here, too, you will receive a report with recommendations for action. Specific problems, on the other hand, can be clarified in the detailed check at your home. As a result, you will receive an individual report.
