Integration assistance for children, adolescents and young adults
Personen, die durch eine Behinderung wesentlich in ihrer Fähigkeit, an der Gesellschaft teilzuhaben, eingeschränkt oder von einer solchen wesentlichen Behinderung bedroht sind, erhalten Leistungen der Eingliederungshilfe.
Im zuständigen Integrationsdienst können Sie einen Antrag auf Eingliederungshilfe stellen.
Details
The aim of integration assistance is to prevent an impending disability or to eliminate or alleviate a disability or its consequences and to achieve integration into society.
Benefits of integration assistance include
- inpatient living
- help with an appropriate school education
- curative education services
- other benefits for participation in life in the community.
The impairment to participation as well as the necessity and suitability of the various forms of assistance are examined by the integration service after an application has been submitted. In the process, children and young people are included in the planning of the assistance in accordance with their age and development, as are the parents.
Documents
In order to process your application for integration assistance for your child, we require the following documents as part of your duty to cooperate:
- Application for integration assistance including release from confidentiality obligation.
- Copy of identity card / passport / residence permit
- Copy of severely disabled person's identity card
- Copy of the decision of the nursing care insurance
- Copies of the medical reports of the last 12 months, if available
- Copy of the special educational report from the school
- Completed school report
- Development table according to Beller of the Kita
- Negative certificate of custody
